How To Apply

If you would first like to  tour our facility,

    Call 614.431.6888 or use the form below to schedule a tour.

Second, submit the following items:

    • Admission Application
    • $50.00 Application Fee
    • A copy of your child's most recent grade card
    • Most recent standardized testing scores

Third, ask your pastor and current school administrator to complete and return these forms:

    • Pastor / School Administrator Recommendation

After your forms have been received, we will contact you to schedule an admissions interview.

Admission Policy

Students are admitted to PCA on the basis of personal family interviews, completed Pastor and Administrator forms, and the student's test results. (Testing will assess the student's academic level and assists in determining grade placement.)

PCA requires parents read and sign documents which acknowledges their understanding and support of the Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct which will be used to guide their child's education.

The Administration of PCA require that both parents be in agreement with their child being placed at Polaris Christian Academy when both parents have parental authority for school placement.

No student will be refused admittance to PCA on the basis of race, color, or national origin.

Student Fees

New Student Application Fee:
$50 Per Family, One-Time Only, Non-Refundable

New Student Registration Fee:
$150 Per Student.  Covers the cost of books, some art supplies, ACSI membership dues, and testing materials. Due at parent interview.

Re-enrollment Fee:
For existing students to re-enroll for the next school year.

$125 if paid by February 28, 2017

$150 if paid after February 28, 2017

 

Annual Facility Fee:

$200 Per Family.  Contributes towards the cost of building maintenance, snow removal, mulch replacement, etc.

 

Individual Fees - determined by participation

$25 Snack Fee - Kindergarten only

$17.50 Bible Fee - 1st grade and new 2-5 Students

$15 Music Shirt Fee - 5th - 8th grade

$10 Band Book Fee - 5th - 8th grade

$15 K-8th Class Activity Fee

**Individual Fees and facilities are non-refundable, and included with ACH agreement or full tuition payment**

 

Activity Fees - determined by participation

$35 (per activity or sport) Extra Curricular Activity Fee: 5th - 8th grade

**Not included with payment plan. Must be paid separately, prior to first game of each sport or activity.**

Payment Options

Option 1: Single Payment Plan of full tuition

Super Early Bird Discount - $250.

Payment due in full by June 30th . This discount does not apply to all fees. Offer void if payment is not received by deadline.

Option 2: Single Payment Plan of full tuition

Early Bird Discount - $200.

Payment due in full by July 31st . This discount does not apply to fees. Offer void if payment is not received by deadline.

Option 3: 9 Month Payment Plan (Payments September thru May)

ACH form must be completed and turned in to the school office by August 10th in order for a child to attend on the first day of school

Option 4: 12 Month Payment Plan (Payments July thru June)

ACH form must be completed and turned in to the school office by June 30th in order to qualify for a 12 month plan.

**Payment plans require a completed Automatic Tuition Deduction Agreement.**

 

Discounts

PCA offers a variety of discounts to help make tuition affordable.  Contact the office to see if you qualify to receive one of the following discounts.

Multiple Child Discount
Second child: $250 discount, third child: $500 discount, fourth child: $750 discount.

Early Learning Center Discount

$100 - A one time discount on Kindergarten tuition for students who have completed the Pre-K program at the PCA Early Learning Center.

Family Referral Incentive

$250 - Paid to referring family when the new family has reached their 3 month anniversary of enrollment at PCA.

Additional Information

Lunch Program

We offer in-house cooked meals Monday thru Thursday and order Pizza on Fridays. All lunches are $3.50 and are paid for in advance. Students may also bring packed lunches. Parents will receive a link through email to order lunches each month.

Before and After School Care

We partner with Polaris Christian Academy Early Learning Center to offer before and after school care for an additional cost. Spaces are limited and fill up quickly. More information is available by calling 614/436-1395.

Financial Aid

Limited financial assistance is available. The amount of financial assistance awarded is based upon funds that are available, class size, as well as your family's need.

Your family's need is determined by completing an online assessment. All requests will be handled on a first come/first serve basis and must be submitted by April 1st.  Families submitting a request will be notified by May 15 of amount awarded.

EdChoice

Depending on your local public school district, you may be eligible to receive an EdChoice scholarship from the state of Ohio.
