4th Grade Bible:  This week in Bible we will be talking about encouraging each other as Barnabus encouraged Paul in the early church. We will be sending each other notes of encouragement.  We will also continue our studies of Paul's missionary journeys.  Our memory verse this week is Heb. 10:23-24..

5th grade Bible:  The fifth graders will be studying about the Great Commission.  Polly Poundalot made a surprise visit and taught the kids about voluntary vs. involuntary responses.  They learned about how the Great Commission is a voluntary response but it needs to be fulfilled.  Our memory verse is none other than Matt. 28:19-20.

 4th and 5th Language Arts:  This week we will be writing friendly letters.  This is exciting because we will be writing to students in Peru!  How cool is that? We will also be covering another rule about verb tense (4th) and comparative and superlative adjectives (5th).

4th and 5th grade Reading:  Both classes will work a little more on fluency and  comprehension this week.  We will also be spending some of our time on reading over our skit for chapel which is coming up next week.
